Bu dersin amacı öğrenciyi matematiğin popüler konuları ile tanıştırmaktır. Her hafta farklı bir öğretim üyesi öğrencilere önbilgi gerektirmeyen bir konuda öğrencilere bir ders vermektedir. Bu dersin vize ya da final sınavı yoktur. Değerlendirme, öğrencinin devam durumuna ve bazı derslerden sonra yapılan kısa sınavlara göre yapılmaktadır.
Konular yıldan yıla değişmektedir. Şimdiye kadar anlatılan bazı konular: Kombinatorik oyunlar, dört renk teoremi, paradokslar, sabit nokta teoremleri, geometri, topoloji, google'ın algoritması vb.

- Objective:

The aim of this course is to introduce some recreational topics of mathematics to the student. Each week one faculty member gives a lecture on a topic which does not need any background. There is no midterm or final exam for this course. The evaluation is based on attendance and quizzes.
Contents: Even though the content may change from year to year, here are some topics discussed in the past: Combinatorial games, four color theorem, paradoxes, fixed point theorems, geometry, topology, Google's algorithm etc.
